Cruise Ship News Norwegian Priority Pass Sky Princess Sea Trials Cayman Islands Dock Project Update Norwegian Cruise Lines is trying out a new product to get passengers to spend money for stuff they used to get for free. It’s called the Priority Pass and it allows you early boarding, early unboarding, front of the line access to the tenders for port calls, free breakfast room service (which used to be free) and a $50 credit towards a spa treatment when the ship is at port. All this for up to $200? The Cayman Islands dock project looks like it is going to go to a national vote via a referendum. Studies seems to show that the dock project in Falmouth Jamaica is not working out as expected as cruise passenger visits are down this year. The government promised Jamaicans that the new port would bring many more visitors and cash flow to the area. The Sky Princess has just completed it’s sea trials and all went well. The ship will be in Fort Lauderdale this December to begin her winter sailings to the Caribbean. #norwegian #princess #caymanislands
