More then 100 classic boat owners, designers, builders and international attendees were present when Svea was announced winner of the category 'Spirit of Tradition over 40ft'. The hull lines were originally hand drawn by There Holm in 1937. Hoek Design took the original lines and converted them to CAD and did all necessary naval architecture work to build her with an aluminium hull. The interior was designed in cooperation between the late Pieter Beeldsnijder and the Hoek Design team. The hull was built at Bloemsma and she was finished at @vittersshipyard in Holland.
