Sustainability is at the forefront of discussions within yachting and at large around the globe. But what can the yachting industry do to further sustainability and reduce its impact on the environment? The third episode of Heesen’s chat show YachtTalk opened up discussions on the topic.
In this show it’s all about the sustainable future of yachting. We home in on efficiency-increasing technology and innovative propulsion systems, such as hydrogen. Robert van Tol, Executive Director of Water Revolution Foundation, will explain why the industry should turn the tide and how we can do that. Robert is joined by Enrico Della Valentina, Team Leader Yachts at the world-leading research institute MARIN, which has just launched its ground-breaking Zero Emissions Lab. And last but not least, naval architect Perry van Oossanen will share his thoughts on the most efficient yacht of the future.
